Monsters are showmen by nature. We like to look good for the camera, and we like to make a scene. More than anything, we like to know that our punchlines aren’t overlooked, but that they in fact get the right amount of attention, and make the proper impact on our shivering victims.
The best way to do that, you ask? Special effects.
