586. Monsters Like Teaching You the Reason for the Season … whether You Like it or Not

Thanksgiving.

A time for family, feasting, and giving thanks for everything and everyone dear to you. It’s a time of reflection. It’s a time of compassion. It’s a time to welcome people into your home as guests around your table.

And it’s a time for those guests to force cultural and spiritual hegemony upon you through strong-arming, abject cruelty, and brute torture unless you learn their very valuable lessons about loving thy neighbor and cherishing your family no matter what.

So, pass the cranberry sauce. Who wants to give thanks first?

What do you get when you cross a horror movie with a pile of books? She’s not always sure, but Sarah G is always there to find the connection. In the process, she has helped found a local nonprofit, started a satirical holiday, ticked off celebrities, and tried to purchase the lunar surface.
