82. Monsters Like Playing with Your Engine While You’re Not Looking

Do you ever wonder why it is that cars don’t seem to work when you’re out in the woods at night? Surely there can’t be that many coincidences. You’re right.

Many monsters secretly dream of being car mechanics. It’s one of the most prestigious positions we can think of – like how humans want their kids to grow up to be doctors or lawyers or reality show stars. Instead, most of my creepy classmates dreamed of digging elbow deep in car grease and grime, myself included.

When we spot an empty car near our haunted mansions, we have to go take a look under the hood. The only trouble is, most monsters never had the proper schooling in engine mechanics. Usually, we just mess around with a few of the parts to see what happens, and learn as we go.

What’s that little cap thing? Let’s pull that off and hide it. Perhaps that will fix the problem.
