314. Monsters Like Doing Things the Easy Way

Everyone is an “Artisan” these days, making things, handcrafted, the long way. Back in my day, if you wanted to create a beautiful wax statue of a human, you would just dip a human in hot, boiling wax.

But these kids today. They’re so ambitious. They probably want to carve their wax human by themselves, with little tools purchased in uptown shops with American Express Cards.

AMERICAN EXPRESS CARDS!!!

Listen to this old-timer. Take the shortcut. Use your brain, not your brawn.

Besides, it leaves more time for leisurely activities, like dipping gherkins in my fondue set, dipping doughnuts in my coffee, and taking a dip in the pool.
