It’s official. Playing with your food definitely makes it taste better.
Playing with food is especially fun when you turn ordinary items into spooky snacks that even the most daring may be afraid to eat.
More than decorations, more than clever costumes, more than that witches brew that helps get the evening going, this monster’s favorite part of the Halloween party are the snacks.
Suddenly, at Halloween, finger sandwiches begin to look like real fingers, deviled eggs truly take on a devilish air, and nearly everything else is somehow transformed to look like a pumpkin, a witch, or a bat.
Sure, the food often doesn’t actually contain any witches or bats. But those are the parties the amateurs throw. At our parties, we always aim to impress, and only use the freshest, most authentic ingredients.
Watch out for the “lunchmeat skull,” though. Sometimes, it bites back.
