Every year on July 27th, monsters, demons, and psychotic freaks across the galaxy celebrate a holiday in honor of themselves – Intergalactic Hug A Monster Day.
This year, Asheville residents braved the streets of downtown to attend a Hug A Monster Day celebration at ZaPow! studio and gallery. The afternoon and evening were amazing, and we could not have had a better time!
SML thanks ZaPow and Spellbound Children’s Bookshop for helping us host our events. We also send our special thanks to Ben Wilson for his excellent musical performance, French Broad Brewing for the keg, and the Hop Ice Cream Cafe for doling out spooky sweet flavors for free. It wouldn’t have been the same without you!
